Membership
The Evansville Area Fundraising Council (EAFC) was created in 1999 as a professional association for development officers to:
- Promote planned giving
- Promote education and professional expertise of council members
- Encourage networking and support among its members
The EAFC meets the second Wednesday of January, February, March, April, May, September, October, November and December. Each meeting includes discussion or speakers who present current topics related to fundraising and nonprofits.
The Fund Raising School
The EAFC hosts a course from The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy each November in Evansville to encourage our members to earn a Certificate in Fundraising Management (CFRM) without having the expense, travel and time of taking these courses at Indiana University.
“Philanthropy is not about money; it’s about feeling the pain of others and caring enough about their needs to help.”
